Tērvete Reservoir riches are its carp, which are replenished each year. 1.5 kilogram perch and up to 10 kilogram pike have also been caught here. Eight boats and more than 12 plank-ways, spread out evenly along the reservoir’s shore, are at anglers’ service, providing opportunities for not only individual fishing but also fishing competitions. However, the reservoir is popular among fishing enthusiasts not only during summer but also in winter, when they reap their bountiful ice-fishing catches.

Those who prefer different recreational activities can rent a boat or a paddleboat for a trip on the lake, arrange volleyball or basketball friendlies, take a longer stroll or ride a bike in the surrounding area.  Here you will find well-organized picnic and lodging areas, spruced-up spots for swimming. Tērvete camping cabins can accommodate 24 guests, the rest can spend the night tent camping.

Tērvete Reservoir is a 70-hectare large lake. There are camping cabins and tent sites, sports fields and picnic areas for those wishing to spend a night in the Park. There you can fishing fish of award-winning sizes, carps and pikes and watch flocks of birds that have chosen the Reservoir as their place of dwelling or use it as a migration point. There is a special bird-watching tower for bird enthusiasts.
