The approximately 12 m high and reddish sandstone outcrop from Gauja suite is located on the left slope of primeval valley wall of river Gauja (~ 0.5 km off the river), on a slope overgrown with trees, and therefore it is not visible from the road.

The outcrop features Līgotņu Cave and two galleries. There are some remains of an overgrown oxbow lake waters at the feet of Tītmaņa Rock.
