The natural monument includes sandstone outcrops with large caves on the right bank of Svētupe near Kuiķuli. The caves are significant as a site of archaeological finds.

The Lībiešu Sacrificial Caves has a 2.9 m high and 3.3 m wide entrance, there are three branches in the depth of the cave.

The total length of the series of outcrops is 330 m and the height is up to 6.5 m.
