In Jelgava, the 24th International Ice Sculpture Festival took place on Jānis Čakste boulevard, Pasta island and in the open-air concert hall "Mītava" from February 3 to 5. The artworks were created by 32 professional sculptors from 12 countries, revealing in ice a unique perspective on ancient deities and their meaning in different cultures. Within the framework of the festival, 45 competition sculptures were created in less than a week.
