Zemīte Lutheran Church is one of the churches built during the times of duchy of Kurzeme in the district of Tukums. Zemīte Church was mentioned in writings already in 1567. In 1852 the church was overhauled, in 1963 the church was closed. In 1993, the church resumed operations.
